Memory Box Program
The launch of the Memory Box program began Tuesday March 11, 1997. Saskatchewan Lodge 16 Masons presented a handcrafted, wooden memory box to Saskatoon Health District service providers and announced a commitment to provide an ongoing supply to the Maternal/Child Centre’s perinatal crisis support program. Moved by its simplicity and therapeutic value, they offered to build the boxes and donate them as needed. There is a hope this Memory Box Program can extend to more communities in Saskatchewan. |
